Grammar
Web and email addresses
No ‘http://’ at the start of web addresses. And don’t include the ‘www.’ (so our address is thewriter.com). Roman (which means no italics). Same with email addresses – no italics needed.
Talking about websites, email or the internet
Website is all one word.
The word email doesn’t have a hyphen in it.
If you’re writing about the internet it should have a lower case ‘i’.
If a web or email address comes at the end of a sentence, it should have a full stop after it. Even if it’s at the end of a paragraph.
